Happy Sunday, friends! I hope you've all had a restful week. Who has tomorrow off work/school? If you do, I am so jealous!
Last night, a couple girlfriends and I rounded up all our favorite ingredients to do a pizza night at home! We got everything we needed from Kroger (#blessed) and the meal ended up being less than $7 for each of us! We even had a whole pizza left over.
Keep scrolling to see how we made our delicious pizzas!
First, we chopped up all our veggies! We decided to go with tomatoes and mushrooms, along with the classic marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and freshly chopped basil.
We also cooked some chicken breast in pesto and chopped it up for the pizza. It was delicious!
We were cracking up at ourselves for buying an entire basil plant. Kroger was out of pre-packaged basil, so we ended up just buying the whole plant (cheaper!!) and picked the leaves fresh! Hopefully we can keep it alive until our next pizza night! LOL.
After the final touches, our pizzas were ready to go in the oven! I loved that they took less than 10 minutes to cook. The crust turned out super crispy (my fave!), and the ingredients we chose came together perfectly! We were so happy with how they turned out! We will definitely be doing this again soon.
Here's a list of everything we bought for the pizzas:
-Kroger Original Pizza Crusts (2 count)
-Kroger Brand Pizza Sauce (one jar)
-1 lb. bag of Shredded Mozzarella
-Whole White Mushrooms
-2 Roma Tomatoes
